Takes a lickin', keeps on tickin'!

We have been very busy since my last post. Jimmy returned from "an undisclosed location in the Middle East." We took a family trip to Vail for four days. It was beyond my expectations and if you ever get the chance to go, it is a place everyone should visit. Multiple times.

Then we headed to the Garden Spot of America -

Clovis, New Mexico!

If you have ever been there, which most of you should be extremely grateful that you have not, you are wondering why we went. Well, my SIL was expecting a little bundle of joy and we went to deliver a large load of Costco items for the pantry and freezer, distract my SIL from her increasing waistline and ankles and entertain our niece as we waited for Little D's arrival.

In spite of the location, we had an awesome time. The baby came the day before we were supposed to leave, so we were able to be with my SIL as she labored at home. It was quite a chore entertaining four children, timing contractions and calming the nerves of the daddy to be and uncle to be, as she labored! But, my SIL stayed strong and was able to stay at home for 13 out of her 18 hours of labor! You go girl! Little D arrived safe and sound

and everyone was thrilled.

Looks a lot like love to me!

We returned from our trip, spent a few days catching up on housework and laundry and are now back into our normal routine.

Except for me. Monday morning I realized I had a twitch under my right eye. It is twitching 204 times a minute (yes, we counted) and it hasn't gone away. Jimmy googled it and the causes can be stress, fatigue, or caffeine consumption. I have no idea what is causing it, or worse when it will stop, but I am afraid people are going to refer to me as

the blonde lady, who talks all the time and has that weird twitchy eye.

I feel sorry for my children.
