The Big Jump

Jimmy has been on the waiting list for months to "jump" out at the Air Force Academy. Yesterday he got the call that his name had come up and so he reported to the Air Field at 8AM this morning.
He did a tandem jump with a Sargeant who has over 700 jumps. The jumped from 11,000 feet, free fell for 10 seconds and then glided for 35 more seconds until they landed. There was no wind today to slow their descent so they landed hard and fast. Rears are not meant for landing gear! Jimmy said it was amazing. We took the girls to Panera after he got out of his gear and he was still in shock from the whole experience! But, he did say it was the thrill of a lifetime.

It's a bird, it's a plane, no it's Jimmy!

That's gonna leave a mark...

Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!

Did I really just jump out of a plane?

Jimmy and the Sargeant he jumped with.

Funny hat, cute girls.

It's always harder putting stuff back in than taking it out.

Where was your stomach while Jimmy was floating down?
